LODGE MEETING.
Court Sir Geo. Bowen (Foresters) held a "social" in St. Peter's Hall,. Ghuznee .Street, on Monday evening. A 'large attendance of visitors and members of the order thoroughly enjoyed themselves to the inspiriting musio supplied by Mr. B. .T. King, pianist. A song and' dance by Master Deritice.was appreciated.' Mr. Barker gave "In the Shadow of the Pines" (song), and also' played a couple of extras m good time. Refreshments were handed round during the evening. The officers of the lodge acted , as M.C.'s.
The Pioneer Lodge, No. 11, 1.0. G.T., held its. usual weekly session in the Rechabite Hall, Manners Street, on Monday evening. Bro. H. J. Millan, C.T., presided over a good attendance of members and friends. One candidato was proposed for membership, one initiated, and one readmitted. The business for the evening, the election of officers for the ensuing term, resulted as follows:—C.T., Bro. 11. J. Millnn (re-elected); V.T., Sis. Collins; secretary, Bro. Rutherford; F.S., Sis. L. Richards (re-elected)treasurer, Bro. Kelly (re-elected); cluip:',; Sis. .All. sop; Mar., Bro. Fish; guard, Bro. Hampton; Sent., Bro. Cornish; pianist, • Sis. Richards (re-elected); Reg.,-.'Bro. G. .A. Petheriek; reporter, Bro. G. ,A.'Petheriek (re-elected); D.M., Sis. M. Robinson; .as-sistant-socretary, ■ Sis. : , S. Schultz; Greetings from various lqdges were v roeeived and heartily rceiprdcated. A hearty vote of thanks to the scrutineers and visitors 'wasfcarriod by acclamation, several members responding.
