CHARITABLE AID.
The Charitable Aid Committe* of the Hospital, which will conduct the work of the old Benevolent Trustees and Charitable Aid Board, held its first meeting yesterdny.' There were present: Miss Richmond, Messrs, J. G. TV. Aitlten, D. M'Lnrcu, M.P.,, G. Smith, W. Galloway, C. A. Jl'Ewan,- D. liobcrtson, and J. E. Fitzgerald. Mr. ■ Aitkon was .elected chairman. ■' . ' The report on the Ohiro Home stated that there were in the main ■ homo 60 nialo and 30 female inmate, and in the intermediate home 17 inmates. ' The usual cases of distress were dealt with.
