MOTOR=CAR ACCIDENT.
A .FALL OF 50 FEET. NARROW ESCAPE OP OCCUPANTS. IDy Telegraph-Press Association.! Vyoodville, April 2.5. Another motor accident occurred on the Gorge-Ballance Road on Saturday at the same place whore Sir. Byron Brown's car was capsized some months ago. Tho cav on file present occasion was owned by, and in charge of, Mr. Garnet Blundell, and on board were Messrs. Wilfred Blundell. D. Nelson, S. Grundy, and C. Robertson, all of AVellington. After: safely negotiating the Gorge Road they.went along the road towards Ballance. At Mathieson's Gulch the car went over tho bank, and landed in a creek, throwing out those on board as it went down tho bank. Marvellous to relate, all escaped with only a' severe shaking and bruises. Assistance was sent from Palmerston. The car is not much damaged, and null be taken to Palmerston. Palmerston North, April 25. The car fell fully 50 feet. The escape of the occupants from serious injury is attributed to the fact that the car did ;iot capsize, but pulled up with its front buried in debris. One front wheel and the back' seat are broken.
