Deglatingy, stated to be well-known French aristocrats,' who were recently arrested at Tours on a charge of having sold forged paintings to Mrs \ Paine, an American lady : living in Paris. It has,been discovered that the "Count" is really the son. of. a London tailor named Daulby. He had been living in extravagant, stylo at Tours; ' ■ ■■■,'■"'

Harper, M.H.R., Huxley Hill has been committed for trial. William Harper, and Walter Kemp and William Brocket (solicitors) been discharged on the ground of insufficiency of evidence. .
■ MR. E. , W. O'SULLrVAN ILL. (Rec. Aprij 21, 11.15 p.m.) • Sydney,. April 21. . Mr. E. W. O'Sullivan, who represented Belmore division of Sydney, in the present state Assembly, and who was for nearly five years New South Wales Minister for Works, is dangerously ill. . ' . .
[Mr. Edward William , O'Sullivaii was born on St. Patrick's Day, 54 years ago. A Tasmaniari by birth, and a journalist by profession, he entered the New .South. Wales Assembly in: 1885 as member for Queanbeyan, which seat he held for "about 19 years, but in the present Assembly he figures as member for Belmore division,. Sydney. As Minister for Works in the Lyne and See Governments of New South Wales, a portfolio which he hold for nearly five years, he was accused of borrowing proclivities, a not altogether uncommon failing in a Minister for Works. Hβ was Minister for Lands in the Government led in 1904 by Mr. Waddell (now "fused" with Mr. Wade). It is gathered from "Johns's Notablo Australian's" that Mr. O'Sullivan .is a trustee for Captain Cook's Landing Place, Kuringai Chase, and the recreation grounds on Clark and Shark Islands in Sydney harbour, and is also connected with a number of sporting associations.]
