Tho Mental-Hospital wrote explaining the. reasons which, compelled, them to cancel their match with Brooklyn. • It was decided to replay the niatch, as Brooklyn had not been inconvenienced and the default had been no fault of the Mental .Hospital players.- ■:' Owing to tho loss of three of its best senior players, the Petone Club advised that it was impossiblo to enter a senior league first division team as desired. They therefore asked to be allowed to enter a senior second division team instead. It was decided to allow tha team to be withdrawn.

The Wanderers Cliib wrote stating that it was impossible for them to enter a *irst division team, for various reasons. The. necessary permission 'to withdraw the team was granted. '■' ■ '

The Boys' Sub-Committee reported that it had decided to 'transfer Seatoun from fifth B to sixth grade. Everything possible was being done to play/sixth grade matches in.town. It was decided to suggest,to the Football Association, that all clubs and .enthusiasts be approached relative to getting out subscription lists in! view of the visit of a boys' team to Dunedin. It was also resolved to open up negotiations with Qtago on the subject, and that tho age for players be under 1C years on May 1. It was further resolved, ro ask tho opinion of the Football Association relative to holding a sports meeting at the end of the season. The report iVas adopted. \

A letter from Wanderers invoked tho aid of the association in the matter of two of their players, who had not yet paid their last. year's subscriptions. It was decided to hold tho matter over until next meeting.

The Swifts Clnb forwarded a letter from one of its vice-presidents (Mr. J. F.' Atkins) offering to donate a cup for competition between the. Wednesday clubs. The donor leaves the conditions entirely to the. Football Association. The offer was accepted with thanks.
