SIR HEDWORTH LAMBTON . , MARRIED.

Sir Hedworth Lambton, K.C.8., until, recently Com-mander-in-Chief of the China Station, and, noted as the Commander of tho Naval Brigade at Ladysmith, has married Viscountess Cholsoa (the Hon. .Mildred Cecilia Harriet, younger daughter of the late Lord' Alinsrtbn, and widow of. the late Viscount Chelsea, who was son of the sth Earl Cadogan).

[The lady was born in 1869, and in 1892 married :Viscount Chelsea, who' died in 1907.. Sir Hedworth Lambton is 53 years of ago, and, .besides his notable service at Ladysmith, sewed in-tho bombardment ot Alexandria and in the Egyptian War. He is a commander of the Legion of Hononr. He is a younger brother of the present Earl of Durham and of the Hon F. W. Lambton (a Unionist Freeii if, l formerly represented Southeast. Durham,' hut who was rejected last January). . Sir Hedworth himself attempted, in the "Khaki" election of 1900, to enter-the Honso of Commons as a Liberal, but Newcastle refused him.]
