The coalition of "Insurgent" Republicans and Democrats succeeded in rejecting a credit for the motor-car of the Speaker (Mr. Cannon). Mr. Cannon defied the "Insurgents" to depose him from the Speakership, and predicted that the Republicans would again be returned in the autumn to full control'of the Government. London, April 12. Reuter'a Rome correspondent has reported that at Porto Maurizio, Italy, where he is staying, Mr. Roosevelt, stated that he had decided to be a candidate at the next Presidential election.
