A woman named Alico Searlo, about 43 yoars of age, who camo from Pahiatua on April 7, died suddenly at Palhierston North at 9.30 o'clock last night, in tho house of a Chinaman named Willie Sing, in Main Street West. A daughter, aged 13, was with her at the timo. The woman seemed to be in her usual health at 9 o'clock, when sho was reading tho paper. Feeling tired she lay down to rest, and shortly afterwards her daughter called attention to tho fact that she was looking peculiar. Sing went out to get a doctor, but on returning found that tho woman was dead, nnd the doctor on arrival could only confirm tho fact. MOTOR-CAR TYRES.
