SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Barometric pressure lias continued low and very unsteady. There has been little movsment in the far north, but westerly low pressure has controlled the wcathor conditions elsewhere., Westerly winds, 'strong- to gale, have prevailed, and rain has fallen in most parts southward of Kawhia and Castlepoint. Present indications aro for clouay and unsettled weather generally, with rain in most parts of the country, and snow oo higher lovol6. Strong southerly winds will probably prevail.
