ADDINGTON TOP PRICES.

COMPARATIVE TABLE. •■:■;..;''•' ' '-/—-■-. Below.is published our, weekly table showing the top prices obtained at this, week's Addington sale, as • compared with the rates ruling last week, and in the corresponding week of the past four years. The prices are in each case the top prices obtained for the different lines, though in fat lambs the figures, with the exception of those for this.week, .are for freezing weights, and not-for tegs. In the reports of this .week's • sale no distinction was drawn between tegs and freezers, and it is.necessary- to,bear, this in mind. ■■'■' :'.. y ''\ : ADDINGTON PRICES.',;... The yarding of lambs was a record one, 14,300 lambs being penned, and the range of prices was from 125.. 6d. 'to 18s. lOd. The bulk of the lambs appear. to have fetched something between 15s. and 166. The price of 20s. 9d. for fat wethers— the highest reached this .year—is for extra quality, and prime made from 16s. 3d. to 19s. ; pd.. The beef market was quiet this week with a weak demand. The fall of 3d. per lb. for bacon, pigs is accounted for by an extra large yarding, doubtless attracted by the rise in prices which occurred last week.
