HIGH APPRECIATION.
MAGISTRATE AND BAR. • (By TeleeraDn.-Press Association.! Stratford, April 8. In the Stratford Magistrate's Court, Mr. Eookes, solicitor, informed Mr'' Greenfield, S.M., that tho local Bar entirely dissociated itself from the remarks reported to have been made' in the Eltham Court, when a request was made that contested, cases should stand over, as conveyed in yesterday's press message from Eltham, and- expressed high appreciation of the magnanimous manner in which Mr. Greenfield . had stepped into the breach in a time of emergency. While the Court was still sitting Mr Greenfield received-a telegram as follows :—"Wake's remarks not made with sanction and approval of Eltham Bar.", Eltham, April 8. . _ Correspondence appears in- the local journal, signed by three other solicitors stating that the local Bar entirely disitself from the remarks made by Mr. Wake in the Court on Wednesday, regarding Mr, Greonfield, SM '
