MOTOR ACCIDENT.

COLLISION IN. KENT ■TERRACE. A collision, happily attended by. no very serious consequences, occurred between a . motor-car and 'a motor-cycle in Kent Terrace yesterday, afternoon. A lad named' Robert-'Jamesi'Nesbit; employed by the Acetylene. Gas Company was proceeding on a motor-cycle along Kent Terrace in the direction of the Basin "Reserve. Coming in the opposite direction was a.motor-car driven by Mr. H. P. A. Wollerm'an, of Ellice Street, who was accompanied by Messrs. E. and F. Tucker. Both were, going along'at a smart pace, and ordinarily, would have passed each other at the Elisabeth Street intersection of the terrace. The car, however, suddenly wheeled round into Elizabeth Street, and the motor-cycle collided with it. .The rider, was severely shaken, and apparently injured internally, while the cycle was- more or less of a wreck. The injured lad was picked up in an unconscious condition and taken to Mr. Palliser's pharmacy,, which-was close handy where ho • was attended to by Dr. Elliott, who ordered his removal to tho hospital. An inquiry at the institution last evening elicited' the fact that the, injuries, after all,, were, not very serious, and the young man, after a good rest and treatment, was able to leave for his home about 6;o'nloi!k. The motor-car escaped with a few trifling scratches.
