The Missions to. Seamen. Institute was well filled last evening, when an instructive lecture was given on ambulance work by Mr. James Moore, missioner. Curing the oouree of the evening, the lecturer gave several demo •- strstions snowing tho different methods of carrying patients, how to .treat severed arteries, and.the system of restoring the apparently drowned. Competition m connection with gun accidents and health matters were held, and won by sailors from ships in port.--A bright musical programme' wa3 proi vided by Mr. Page, the following contributing : items:—Misses Greenish (2), Page, Messra.
