THE ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Christchurch, April 7. An ; English scientist, writing to a friend in Christchurch, states: that Captain Scott has arranged to.take on liis Antarctic expedition aa. physicist Dr. Simpson,, at present in the Indian Meteorological Service Contingent on the Indian Government granting Dr. Simpson the'necessary leave. Dr. Simpson is an old student of Dr. Schuster, second physicist, at present working at the Cavendish laboratory who has been engaged to go.with the expedition.
