PETONE JUNIOR CLUB.

: The report to be presented to-night' at the. Petono Junior Club's annual meeting states that 47 now members were elected whilst H resignations wero received dnring the past year. Twenty-nine committee meetings were held, Mr. W. Taylor .heading the attendance list, with 27 meetings. Various successful- tournaments were held, including an inter-club tourney amongst the Hutt Valley Clubs. The thanks of the club are duo', to Messrs. Friser, Palmer, Ross, Upton, Lynskey, and Jennoss for donations. The club-rooms have been improved, and .the billiard tables have been re-covered. The athletic sports were very successful, there being eight evening meetings during the year, F. Strickland winning the shield 'with an aggregate number' of points of 27; A.
