Tho authorities declined to be- intimidated, and the. reservists thereupon decided that the ships should not leave Marseilles until their .demands'were satisfied. The crews of all vessels came ashore, and 600,000 tons pf cargo and the outward'mails are'detained. - The Messageries Maritimes Company have applied for bluejackets to complete their crews'.
