The council of the Hastings Chamber of Commerce to-night resolved to communicato with all the chambers of commerce in tho North Island with the view of ascertaining whether they are favourable to the formation o! n league for the purposo of endeavouring to got the whole of tho North Island members of Parlia:nent to combine to obtain a measure ot fair play for tho North. Island in tho matter of railway management and ex. pendituro generally.
