At the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association's Easter tournament,' the ladies' championship singles was decided to-day, Miss Bntterworth beating Miss Goodman; 6-6, 6-2, 6-3, ' The final of the-ladies' 'doubles in tho provincial lawn tennis tournament was to have been played yesterday, but was postponed oh account of the weather. It is intended to play it at the Thorndon flourts this afternoon if the conditions are suitable.
