Williams—Vallance. A wedding .'of considerable interest to residents in many- parts of Wellington district took place yesterday, at the homo of the bride's parents, "Kahurangi/MYairarapa, when Miss Eila Mary. Vallance* eldest daughter of Mr. C. F. Vallance, of Kahuminjp/'lVueru, was married to Mr. Erl Temple- Williams, of To _ Parae, youngest *soii of Mr. T. C. .Williams, of •Wellington. M'Neill-Lingard. Miss May Lingard, the artist whose work is well known in New Zealand and who is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs.. Lirigard, of Island Bay, was married yesterday afternoon to Mr. Henry Forester Leigh ton M'Noill, son of Mr. M'Neill, an old resident of Wanganui.
