Tuesday .morning and placed in a' shed where he subsequently died* the medical evidence showed that death resultd from a fractured skull evidently the result of Va, fall front a horse. It appeared that the. deceased had been at>. tending the- sports at. Motueka.and had' been' drinking ■ • with other youths. The coroner returned a verdict in accordance . with the' medical evidence and directed the police' to make exhaustive inquiry into the drinking among, the youth which had evidently taken place at the sports and. in town.
