About forty riflemen .took, part in the half-yearly competitions promoted by the Marigawfeka .Rifle" Club on. Easter Mon-. day; The mofning'shooting was good; but. during the afternoon Vchoppy.wind upset all calculations. Recent visitors to Trentham say that the tricks of the air currents there were never-worse to judge ! than those which prevailed on Monday, at Mangaweka. Twenty-five points' was ; the best score registered at ,700yds.;.only seven
