Tho • secretary reported the steps which he had taken to carry out the decision of the council with respect to Mayze's suspension by the Otago Association. Mayzo had informed him that he would communicate direct with the Otago Association on the matter. The secretary had placed the position before the Otago Association and had stated . that the' council irould expect to hear from the association before taking action. Lengthy correspondence was received from the r Westlarid Centre,' Westport Association, Westport Sports Club, and Millerten Association dealing with applica- j tions for affiliation.
