Mr. Conlan; of Himitangi, near lToxton (writes our Palmerston correspondent); has bad twenty-five acres of oats completely stripped by caterpillars, .which are said to.'be fearfully numerous in that district. . .It is. estimated that scarcely a bushel!''of oats would be obtained from the whole crop if it were threshed, which, needless to say, under the circumstances will not be done. • ■
