SAILORS' REST.
— The unfavourable weather in no way affected tho attendance at the Sailors' Rest last evening, when a concert', was given under tho auspices of St. Patrick's Conference of' the Society of St. Vincent "do Paul. The entertainment provided was of a high order of merit, and was much appreciated by the large audience of seamen which, assembled. Tho following ladies nnd gentlemen contributed itemS:—Miss M. Frith, Mr. G. Foote, lifts' N. Bell, Mr, : G. Wilson, Miss A. Frith, Mrs. Allen, Mr. F. Cooze,. Miss E. Bowden, Mr. G. Bradley, Miss .• Coleman, Mr. G. Schmidt, Miss A. Colemian, Mr. H. Elmore, Master Norman ' Dentice, Miss Mcston, and Messrs. Latto and Bayno, of tho s.s. Kuinara. The accompaniments were efficiently played by Misses Frith, Eowden, and Coleman, and Messrs. Bayno and ■A. Dentice. In thanking the performers for their excellent entertainment, Captain Bonner announced that at the next concert to be 'held on.April 4, the drawing of tho art I union, lately promoted by the Seamen's I Conference, would take place.
