(By Telegraph.— Press Association.) Wangantii, February 28. Tho Police Court was occupied all the morning in hearing the. chaxge of arson ngninst John Paul Dnvies end Martin liaincs in connection with tho IluUand Hotel fire on January 23. Most of the evidence this morning was given by insurance agents regarding the value of tho stock. Tho accused were committed i'nr trial at the Supreme Court. Bail, which was not forthcoming, was fixed at .£SOO for each accused, and two sureties of .Cl5O each.
