. ANNTJAIi MEETING. The annual meeting of: the N.Z. Accountnnts'. and Auditors' Association was held at the Chamber of Commerce last evening. There were.' present: Messrs. Henry Shaw, president (Auckland), in tho chair; Q. W. Hutchenson, registrar; W. Takle (Auckland), G. O'HaUoran (Auckland), J. C. Port (Wellington), Torsyth (Wollingtoil), Rowley (Wollington), F. H. Lnbatt.: (Christchurch), ,T. Compton (Cfaristchurca), D. M'Kay (Wellington), H. P. Corkill (New Plymoath), P. AVUberfoss OVellington), F. H. Thompson (Duuedin). The, iinjjual report stated that (;he association has: secured fair representation on the counoil, and tho experience which the gentlemen connected with it have gained in. connection with thq affairs of the association' should . prove of great benefit to the .new- society. • An amendAct was introduced into Parliai*mt in the, closing session of 1909 ,and passed, the result being that applications for registration will.again bo received up to March 31, 1910.
