MASTERTON RAM FAIR.

;.-' The annual ram fair, under the. aus'ipices of. the Masterton A.-'and P. As-j I'sociatioh,' commenced: at the/ showgrounas yesterday.morning.-'...There was 'an \ excollent ' attondance/of-' representabuyers. : The. entries'totalled 2380, and Komneys/ Southdown/ and .Shropehircs are'being sold to-day, the Lincolns, English lioicdsters, and -Border -Leicestcrs coming on to-morrow. :. Among the. out■side breeders whoso stock ,is ' present aro: :Messrs. E. J. Kiddiford;' W.: Gibson (Foilding), Eomnoys;; J.: Johns (Christchurch), Nelson Bros. (Napier), and Ellis Bros. (Bulls), Southdowns. Flock -Roinneys were, taken yesterday morning/ bidding being fairly brisk. The highest price realised was .10 .guineas' for a one-shear ["'ram,- -purchased'by- J. P.
