A meeting of the Petoue Main School Committee was held last night, when there were present the Rev. Mr. Russell, Messrs M'Konzie, Hill, M'Dougall, AbrahMl.and List. In reference.to the establishment of school baths; it was mentioned that a sectidn.'.'in-close proximity to the school grounds (the property of the Boys' Brigade Trustees) would-be most suitable for the •purpose.. It was.consequently, decided to ask the, Technical School Board 'to.furnish particulars of tho ground in question. . The Potone Borough Council: I '.offered 100 gallons, of tnr for the purpose 'of improving tho school ground. Tho mat-.' ter.was left in. the:hands of the chairman, and' secretary, -to'. organise, a "bed", to '.'carry, out .the work.
