A Wellington Wedding. I Testerday afternoon at iSt. Thomas's <3hurch, Newtown, Miss Florence Helen Carter, second daughter of Mr Fiedenck Carter, of Wellington, was marned to Mr. Walter Briarley Estcourt, of Manchester 'England, the Eev. J. Walker officiating, v The church had becn'decoruted with flowers by friends of the bnde. The bnde, who" was given'away by her father, wore a princess frock of white chiffon taffetas with a court train and a panel of silk lace extending from lihroat to hem/ She wore also a bridal ■rail and, wreath, and carried a bouquet of white'roses and sweet peas. Four bridesmaids attended her—Miss Grace iDorter, her sister, Miss Stitt, from FeildUng, and tho little Misses Daisy Eichardlion.'and'Leila'Boon. The older bridesmaids wore charming frocks of mauve ,alk, striped ninon made in somi Empire 3tyle, ana with yokes of silk embroidered cream lace. Tboir hats of crinoline'straw . were of the same shade, one trimmed pith roses, tho other ivith lilac. The little „ maids wore frocks of u lute Embroidered muslin, and white satin bon- . nets with touches of heliotrope. The four bridesmaids carried crooks, to which bunches of mauve sweet peas were fastened with streamers of tho same colour. After the ceremony the bridal party and guests adjourned to Godber's Booms in Cuba Street where a wedding breakfast was served at which a'large number were present. The tables were charm- . • ingly, decorated withMvhite sweet peas. Mrs. Stitt, the elder sister of the bride, who acted as hostess, wore a white embroidered costume and o white hatj Mrs. W. Tho bride's travelling costume was a tailormade coat and skirt of prime coloured ' trimmed with black silk braiding, and with it she wore a mushroom hat trimmed with bridal roses.
