Sebastian Ott, aged 20 years, was drowned while bathing in tho Mnmuvatu River at Foxton to-day. His mother resides in Wellington. 1 Robert Henry. Parker, who was knocked down - by a tramcar in Manners Street late on Saturday night, and who now lies in a serious condition in tho Wellington Hospital, has connections resident at St. John's Wood, London. Many years ago he camo to New Zealand, and was for a timo on Sargood, Son, and Ewon's staff of travellers. Inquiry, at the hospital last ovening elicited the fact that the condition of Herlihy and Walker, the two tram conductors who wero injured last week, is slowly improving. ' The condition of Charles Mitohinson, who was injured while diving, shows no improvement, rho man Harry Robert Parker, seriously injured by a car on Saturday night, is still in ■ a low condition.
