•SWIMMING. ■ At the Te Aro Baths on Saturday the Wei-, ling Swimming Club held a hundred yajds swimming race. The following were the handicaps:—Ashford (scr.); Murrell (7sec.), Stratford (Bsec.), Evenson (8 sec.), Jl'Gregor (14sec.), and Dalaney, (lflsec.). The race resulted in a win for R. Evenson, with Stratford'second, and Slur.rell third; Tie time for the distance was 76sec.
