Tho Minister for Customs,: Senator Sir Robert Best, has informed the Senate that negotiations are ■ pi-oceeding with New Zealand to secure more favourablo terms for. the admittance in . New; Zealand of Australian wines. The Government,: added the Minister, had hoped that tho subject would be dealt with this session,, but, unfortunately; the Government had not yet received a sufficiently satisfactory reply from the Dominion Government.
