It was decided toiincrease tho funeral afloat anco to members of female courts to wEIS. It was unanimously resolved that the dwW tnct woretary's salary bo increased to £100 por annum. The setting up of a committee to go into the ma.ter of appointing a permanent organising, secretary was also decided upon. - " \ The matter of roprosontation of fohiro conferences was discu&scd, but no resolutions were passed. , With regard to tho question of centralising tie sick and funeral fund, it was that this matter bo attended to by tho executive. „' Tho delegates were tho gucste of tho Picton, Borough Council this afternoon,' and wore taken for a trip down tho Sounds, leturning to Picton this evening. They expressed themsolves as highly delighted with the grandeur of tho soonerj- in tho Sounds, and wcro vervi whole-hearted in their thanks to tho Mayor and councillors of Picton for tho kindness extended to them during their sfcaj.
