The High Commissioner for South Africa, Lord Selborne, spoabrg at a banquet at Bulawayo, capital of Rhodesia, s-aid that many largo and important questions required settlement, but tho danger-point was passed. Rhodesia would not enter tho South African Union until tho South Africans, Rhodesians, and the Chartered Company hacl agreed that the time was ripe. When that time < armed, the Imperial Government would givo thfl utmost assistance.
