Evans, and the chairman ( considered that 6uch a case was beyond the i Ecope of the' trustees, and the meeting agreed . with this ruling. ' An applicant who had gone through ,£IOOO ; in four years,. and had been assisted by his ! sister since he spent his own money, was ; granted, relief for a short time, as he is now ; destitute.'' ■ i Tho number of inmates in the homo yester- . ; day totalled 120, including 68 males, and, 32 ; i females in the main home, and 20 inmates in ' the intermediate ward. ,
