It appears thot a man named Reberts went to a fish shop in Manchester Street, and , asked to see a pirl named Alice Newman, who was employed in the. establishment. • He followed her ,up to her room, and then "shot her through the head, afterwards making bis escape. The girl was killed instantaneously. - The body was subsequently, removed to the morgue. The police are searching'for tho man.
