Sir,—Kindly allow me space in your, valuablo journal to ventilate a grievances which the 'general l public have "to . tolerate;, in - this . citjv The disgraceful state, 'of affairs 7 existing in and around "about Molesworth. Street."is becoming intolerable as .• it is not safe for a .respectable person to walk along. tho :street - without being insulted by disrepiitablo porsons of both sexes. I 'was walking, home, along Molesworth Street a few. nights ago , with a •lady, and had occasion to call into a newsagent's shop, to get a paper;,on my return I fonnd my lady friend' very much upset, as she -had been • insulted by, some blackguard. .This is not tho only part of the city in which such;a disgraceful state'of affairs 1 exists' and' it is quite time' tho police authorities opened their eyes and-put a stop to this sort of conduct..
