BILLIARDS.
There was a good attendance at the Hastings Club: on Saturday evening to witness a billinrd exhibition by Mr. J. Road. In two games of 400 up; Read conceding : 200, the professional was seen in fine form, winning both games. Highest breaks wero: 173, 88, 86, 70, 73," 59, 56, 52, and averaged 36. After the game an interesting (Sxhibition of fahcy and masso strokes was given by Read. ;
