A banco for the Clnderellas. ■ . It was a very, pretty and enjoyablo dance that was given in • the Sydnoy Stuet Schoolroom last night by a Wellington committee for tho Cindereflas of tho Hutt—those hostesses who had invited many Wellington friends to their .three delightful dances. ■ .'ho stage . had been carpeted, and, with couches and chairs was very effectively, decorated with masses of, palms. and bamboo, ,and great bowls filled with'arum lilies and their broad green leaves. The supper-room looked ' particularly': pretty, with its many, flags ,to give ,it colour, and _ a number of.small supper tables decorated: with treat quantities of daffodils, and aarcissi that ad been brought from the Hutt, aud looked as though they, had, come from the show, so • fine were they.
