Napier, September' 15., . it the Annual "meeting of theNnpier Bowling Club, held last evening, the following officers' wcro elected for . tno ensuing year President, Mr. 11. Bull; vice-president, Mr. F. C. Williams; treasurer, Mr. J. B. Fielder; secretary, Mr.'W. Hodgson; association delegate, Mr. J. S. D'Emden. It was decided to protest against tho action of tho Northern Bowling Association in regard to. tho "opendoor" policy, the'resolution having been carried at a meeting of which'tho president of • thc'.association (Mr. ,T. M'Vay) received no notice., It was also decided to ask that a special meeting of the association be called to reconsider the matter.
