].' Nineteen members of the Wellington- Har. riers'mustered-at Karori' on Saturday for the weekly run. In the absence of the captain nn'd.vice-captain, who are away with the team sent' to' -represent • the club ,at tho • amateur cross-country" championship and ,handicap races at Timaru, tho pack-was in charge of Mr. A. W. Muir. Tho courso taken was from the tea' rooms, on' to the Parkvale '.Hills, ,'and thence to" tho Makara: Range, which was followed'to within 200 yards;of. homo, when the usual run-in' was held.' This resulted' in a win ffor R.-E. Bust, with H. J. Pollock a close second, and. C. lamberg third. - The outing constituted' the ,:tast v formal run..of; tho. season. Next' Saturday; the club championship, coihbined -witK a,' sealed handicap event, will be held at.-Miramar,. and should-,be very keenly contested, all members now in good .form. The' attendance and runs-in ' points, after be-ing-totalled, show H. J. Pollock .winner, and R. E. Bust nmiier-up.
