AMENDED ARRANGEMENTS. ' •■.' ,In a circular'note addressed to officers commanding the various ■ military districts,, -the Chief 'of the General Staff . (Colonel \i. W. Robin; C.8.). indicates an alteration to the programme previously outlined for the observation of Dominion Day by the Defence Forces/ In the original .order, officers commanding districts were to 1 arrange "church parades and services suitable to the local conditions embracing all blanches of the-Defence Forcos under your command. It is left to your discretion (facilities, weather conditions, etc., considered) as to time of parade, or whether it is in open, order or, in the church or garrison hall. In the larger centres the afternoon would seem, the most ,suitable, trams being available for suburban 1 corps parading with the garrison troops. , It is desired, to publish tho numbers present in each mUitary district.", "It has now been decided;" nine the amended order, "that the observance of Dominion Day by- the,Defence.Forces in the Dominion shall take - the form, of - church parades held during ,-tlie ordinary hours of divine service in the morning in .the various churches."
