To clear up the matter and extort.a, confession, the Sultan, who recently held a> fruitless interview with tho Pretender through the bare of the cage, now proposes to place his captive in a wooden shirt studded with nails inside. ■ It is hoped that by this moans Bu Hamara will be persuaded to hand over tho money to Mulai Hafid.
