A House Bazaar. ... ' A very successful houso ; bazaar, organised by the. members of the Wellington Methodist 'Toun'g Women's Bible Clas3 Union,.was held yesterday afternoon and evening at the residence, of Mrs., .W. E. Redstone, Brougham Street, kindly lent for,tho occasion. The function represented I tile yearly effort of the union to assist in the maintenance of the deaconesses of tho Methodist Maori Mission. The well-stocked, stalls spake ofUhe energy and . enthusiasm" of' the'promoters,' and the rooms were filled.with a crowd of eager purcha&ws.' ; Miss: Boxall, ■ president of' tho union,' made a brief speech, introducing Mr. C. P/ Parata, who declared the bazaar open.
