Australian - billiard ' champion, and Master George Gray; who recently toured New Zealand, Gray yesterday made a break of 574, of winch 495. Was scored off,.the red ball,' Gray's averago lor the session being 285. This wonderful achievement constitutes tho Austral-, asian billiard record and world's record off tho red ball. Grays in both instances having broken .his; previous; records. ; •;S Tho match is being pla ye d on an AlOoclc Standard table, built to the British Billiard Association templates, consequently . the records will hold: good and. bo aoctpted in due course by the British Billiard Asociation.
