Celtic Ladios and St. Patrick's Football ; Danco. <' The. first annual danco of the combined •members of the Celtic Ladies'.'Hockey Club arid St. Patrick's College Old Boys' Hockey and Football Clubs took place last night, in the [. Sydney Street •Schoolroom, and- proved a very enjoyable affair.-The walls, of-the room had been charmingly decorated "with lycopodium and branches of-tree-ferns, ivhilo' festoons of lycopodium had been' carried diagonally across the ceiling. The stage had been carpeted, and ornamented'.with palms and furnished with seats for those who;dW;nbt care.to'danse. * Blue and whito , curtains—the- • college ' colours—were hung over the .windows. A,great amount of trouble had been'spant,over, the supper-room, the walls being covered >with white canvas having a gay frieze,\and : numbers',of' -mall .flags ofall colours being hurig from the roof. The supper tables were very'-.prettily arranged with wattle'and yellow bulbs, the 'centre one being.specially effective. Mrs. J. J. Bovine,' wearing- a dress of black brocade withsequin 'trimming, and Mrs. P. Mackin in a-dress of white brocade trimmed with gold. braid, were the two chaperons present. Others present wereYMjs.
