The fortnightly concert tinder the auspices of.-, the Wellington . Catholic Seamen's . Conference' was given ip. the Sailors' Best last evening, before,'? -large audience. ' Special features .of tho programme were the -glees and . part songs of. the Nowtown Choral 'Society, items were contributed by the following:—Piano solo,' Miss M'Car thy; songs, Mr. J. Knowles, Miss M. Frith, Mr. Bolger.; comic items, Lansdowne Bros.; duet, Miss M.'Frith ' and Mr. Parker. The accompaniments were efficiently played bv Misses Fritli and M~Carthy. > .'
