PROFESSOR BICKERTON AND LORD DUDLEY.
(By Tolesraph-Speoial Correspondent.)' Christchurch, July 19. Word has been received that Lord Dudley, Governor-General of Australia, has been so impressed with Professor Bickerton's theory of cosmic evolution that he has persuaded the professor to proceed to England, and remain there (at his Excellency's own expense) until tho eminent scientists of England have opportunities of fully considering tho professor's researches. Professor Biokerton, who is at present visiting Australia, is to deliver a lecture at Government House, Sydney.
