" General Botha, Premier of tho Transvaal, in an interview, said that, considering the Conventions had found it difficult to arrive at a compromise on tho provisions of tho Constitution, especially thoso relating to native -political rights, they must not now be tampered with. • Britain, said General Botha, must trust South Africa to solve difficulties which were essentially South African. . ,
