At the sheop sales.the following average prices were secured by various owners in N the several classes:— Qorriodales: Mr.'St'ringfoHow (Canterbury), ewes avoraged £3 Os. 4d. ' English Leicesters': Mr. Reid (Darficld), hoggets-averaged £3 ss. 4d.; Mr, Wright (Riverdale), hoggets averaged £3 33. 9d.; Mr. Ruddock (Southbridge), rams averaged '£2 135.; Mr. William Nixon ' (Killinchy), ram lambs averaged £3 3a., ewes and rams averaged £2 15s. Id.; Mr. Ruddock, ewes and rams averaged £2 2s.
Border Leicesters: Mr. Smith (Matakohe), rams averaged £2 12s. 6d.; Mr, John Nixon, ram lambs avoragod £5 10s. 3d, Lincoln stud rams: Mr. Hockin (Waiuku), averaged £3 16s, Id.; Mr. Barriball (Woiukn), averaged £4 os. 4d.'/>Mr. Stringfollow, avoraged £4'l3s, lOd.
